Today, we welcome the Hygiena™ SystemSURE Plus into our lineup. Hygiena’s™ SystemSURE Plus is the world’s best-selling ATP Sanitation Monitoring System. With improved functionality, new software, and increased memory, the SystemSURE Plus is designed to provide the most accurate ATP readings available.
The ATP test is a process of rapidly measuring actively growing microorganisms through detection of adenosine triphosphate, or ATP. ATP is a molecule found in and around living cells, and as such it gives a direct measure of biological concentration and health. ATP is quantified by measuring the light produced through its reaction with the naturally occurring firefly enzyme luciferase. The amount of light produced is directly proportional to the amount of ATP present in the sample.
It’s important to ATP test in the instance of a flood. Testing the ATP levels will allow us to determine how dangerous the water is, and what the proper steps will need to be to remediate and repair. Often times, insurance companies will not cover certain losses if they don’t believe the water to be contaminated enough. Running an ATP test ensures that the insurance company will cover exactly what is actually needed. Other water damage restoration companies might not find this to be important, but at Disaster Doctors, our primary concern is ensuring that your home or office is not only completely dried from the flooding, but that no contaminants are left behind that could cause harm to you and your family. If you want that piece of mind with your water damage cleanup, give the experts at Disaster Doctors a call today.
